After the death of his younger brother, a troubled 19-year-old street dancer from Los Angeles is able to bypass juvenile hall by enrolling in the historically black, Truth University in Atlanta, Georgia. But his efforts to get an education and woo the girl he likes are sidelined when he is courted by the top two campus fraternities, both of which want and need his fierce street-style dance moves to win the highly coveted national step show competition.
Chris Brown plays Daran who is the younger brother the main character DJ (played by Columbus Short). Ne-Yo plays DJ's room mate in the movie! Don't forget that Stomp The Yard is in Theatres on January 12th 2006!Be sure to check out the trailer below!

Last Sunday was the 2006 Teen Choice Awards! Ne-Yo didn't win for Choice Love Song. The award went to Nick Lechay for "What's Left Of Me." Ne-Yo presented the award for Choice Drama/Musical with JoJo and Kristen Cavallari from Laguna Beach. Ne-Yo gives Chimere a shout out since his birthday was on Monday! Check out the video below. Ne-Yo's BET Awards Performance

The BET awards aired last night and Ne-Yo performed. I thought the awards were very boring [bring back Will & Jada!]. Ne-Yo was robbed of Best New Artist which went to Chris Brown and also Best Male R&B which went to Prince. It was obvious Prince would win that since BET loves to give away awards to not always the most deserving nominee. Viewers Choice went to Chris Brown again. Whoever thought it would be nice to hire Damon Wayans to host the show should be fired! Regardless of how much the awards sucked, I have added Ne-Yo's performance to the site and you can download it below! Enjoy!! <3
