Site History:
I heard "The Plan" in August when I was driving in my car listening to a mix tape. It was a cute freestyle type song that definitely caught my attention so I
took down the name of the artist. A few days later I came across "Stay With Me" on a disc a DJ friend gave to me and I absolutely fell in love with the song. It
was a few weeks until I realised that both songs we by Ne-Yo. I began to stay on the look out for him as I wanted to hear anything else I could by him. I had
found out he wrote "Let Me Love You" only because I remember hearing that the writer of the song was an upcoming artist. When I heard that the video for "Stay
With Me" would premiere on 106 and Park as a New Joint, I endured 106 & Park to record the video! I loved it and it stayed in my video collection.
At this time, I already had two sites running that were taking up a lot of my time so creating a site on him was not the first thing on my mind. In the
first 10 seconds of the "Stay With Me" video, you hear him sing some lyrics to "So Sick." From the day that video premiered, I would hum the little chords I
knew of the song till one day I heard it on the radio! It was instantly my new favourite song. In November/December I decided I would make a site for him
because I just wanted to show my love and support for who I think is one of the most talented people in the industry. He really brings music back to what it
used to be (not heavily overproduced so you can't even hear the singers own voice). He is an incredibly talented producer, singer and songwriter who I think
deserves at least 15 minutes of attention from each person to evaluate if they like him or no. Chances are you will.
